Light Tower 'Light Tower'

Light Tower is the self-titled debut EP from Chris Enriquez, best known for his work with On The Might of Princes, Spotlights, and Julie Christmas.

Written during the isolation of the early pandemic, the three-song EP pulls together shoegaze, post-hardcore, emo, and heavy alternative rock into something dark, melodic, and intensely personal. Across “When the Mask Drops,” “Drown and Sleep,” and “One of a Kind,” Enriquez steps out from behind the drum kit and into a songwriter role, building dense guitars, huge atmosphere, and vulnerable vocals around the kind of rhythmic detail that has defined his other projects.

The EP was produced by John LaMacchia of Candiria, mixed and mastered by Mario Quintero of Spotlights, with drums tracked by Phil SanGiacomo of Somnuri.

“Hearing Chris's rhythmic sensibilities on drums lead me to think he has a great mind for music. Hearing him helm a solo project proves it!” - Sergio Vega (Quicksand, Deftones)
