Hundreds of AU 'Life In Parallel'

Life in Parallel is the fourth full-length from Hundreds of AU, available as a 12" LP. The album examines the hopelessness of modern life through a sound that moves between soaring melody and abrasive, chaotic intensity, balancing adulthood’s weight with the lingering imprint of coming of age in New Jersey.

Written from a perspective shaped by growing older in a world that often feels left behind, Life in Parallel weaves a narrative that reflects on political unrest, loss, and disillusionment, while still holding space for the fragile hope found in connection, parenthood, and shared experience. It’s a record that pairs sharp social commentary with deeply personal storytelling, allowing vulnerability and anger to coexist without resolution.

The album also features guest appearances from Geoff Rickly (Thursday / United Nations), Jon Tumillo (Folly), Ryann Slauson (Sonagi / Closer), and Adam Kaniper (Stress Spells), reinforcing the sense of community and shared history that runs throughout the record.

Tracked by Joe Egan at Missile Silo Studios and mixed and mastered by John Howard at Warhouse Studios, Life in Parallel captures both sonic urgency and emotional weight—preserving the desperation, immediacy, and raw honesty that define all ten songs.
