Title Fight 'Kingston'

Originally released in 2008, Kingston is the debut 7" from Title Fight, capturing the Wilkes-Barre band at the beginning of the sound that would eventually make them one of the most influential punk and emo bands of their generation.

The three-song EP features “Memorial Field,” “Loud And Clear,” and “Youreyeah,” balancing melodic hardcore urgency with the emotional songwriting and huge hooks that would soon carry into The Last Thing You Forget, Shed, and Floral Green.

Originally released by Flight Plan and Attic Records, Kingston arrived while the members of Title Fight were still in high school and beginning to venture outside their hometown for weekend shows throughout the Mid-Atlantic and New England. After those labels folded, the EP was briefly reissued by Six Feet Under Records in 2009 with alternate artwork, while the songs later appeared on the CD and digital editions of The Last Thing You Forget.

Purple Circle Records has returned Kingston to its original 7" format for the first time in more than a decade, restoring the original 2008 artwork and layout and featuring a new remaster by Will Yip at Studio 4.

Three essential early Title Fight songs, finally back where they started.
