Rage Against The Machine 'People Of The Sun'

Originally released in 1997, People of the Sun is a six-song Rage Against the Machine 10” EP released through Revelation Records.

The connection runs deep: before forming Rage Against the Machine, vocalist Zack de la Rocha fronted Inside Out, one of the most important bands from Revelation’s early catalog. This release brings that history full circle, pairing two of Rage’s defining tracks, “People of the Sun” and “Bulls on Parade,” with a collection of live recordings and rarities.

The EP includes live versions of “Without a Face” and “Zapata’s Blood,” along with “Hadda Be Playing on the Jukebox” and a live performance of Public Enemy’s “Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos” featuring Chuck D.

An essential piece of Rage Against the Machine history and a unique crossover between one of the biggest bands of the ’90s and the Revelation Records hardcore lineage.
