Judge 'Chung King Can Suck It'

Originally pressed in just 100 copies in 1989, Chung King Can Suck It has become one of the most infamous and sought-after records in New York hardcore history.

Recorded as the original version of what would become Judge’s landmark Bringin’ It Down LP, the band ultimately chose to re-record the album at Normandy Sound. The abandoned first recording was given its notorious title and released in an extremely limited pressing, turning it into a hardcore collector grail for decades.

Released in celebration of Revelation Records’ 200th release, Chung King Can Suck It has been remastered and officially repressed as a standalone release for the first time since 1989. The updated packaging features never-before-seen photography by Jeffrey Ladd and a reversed version of the iconic original cover.

Beyond its place in hardcore history, the record also includes two songs that did not appear on Bringin’ It Down, “Holding On” and “No Apologies,” making this more than simply an alternate version of a classic album. It is a document of Judge at a pivotal moment and one of the most legendary releases in the Revelation Records catalog.
