Have Heart ‘10.17.09: Silver Edition’

Recorded at Have Heart’s legendary final show on October 17, 2009, 10.17.09 captures one of the defining moments in modern hardcore. Playing to a packed crowd in Revere, Massachusetts on National Edge Day, the Boston straight-edge band tore through a 21-song set spanning their entire career. 

The set pulls heavily from The Things We Carry and Songs to Scream at the Sun, alongside earlier favorites including “Watch Me Sink,” “Something More Than Ink,” “Armed With a Mind,” “The Unbreakable” and the closing “Watch Me Rise.” More than a traditional live album, 10.17.09 documents the intensity, community and emotional weight that made Have Heart one of the most influential hardcore bands of their generation. 

Originally released by Bridge Nine Records in 2010, 10.17.09 remains an essential document of Boston hardcore and the final chapter of Have Heart’s original run.
