Originally assembled from Botch’s early 7"s, compilation tracks, split releases and other rarities, Unifying Themes Redux captures the band in the process of becoming one of the most influential heavy bands of the late ’90s. The collection traces the rawer, more chaotic side of Botch before American Nervoso and We Are the Romans pushed their sound into even more technically warped territory.

Across sixteen ferocious tracks, Botch tear through off-kilter rhythms, dissonant riffs, metallic hardcore, noise and flashes of dark humor with the kind of nervous energy that made them impossible to mistake for anyone else. Weird samples, jagged structures and massive guitar work sit alongside material pulled from long-out-of-print EPs, compilation appearances and other early recordings, making Unifying Themes Redux both a rarities collection and a map of the band’s evolution.
